New Simple Integrators and Differentiators Using Current Feedback Amplifiers

Some new dual-input active integrator/differentiator structures using the Current Feedback Amplifier (CFA) device with a few RC components are proposed. Both voltage-mode and current-mode designs are derived. The effects of the port tracking errors (ε_(i,v,o)) assuming a nonideal CFA, had been analyzed, which shows that the time constants (τ) are practically active-insensitive. Compensation design equations are derived for correcting the value of τ that was altered (τ) due to the imperfection of the CFA device. Experimental results on waveform conversion have also been verified.
