摘要

Unilateral nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a technology developed for detecting signals from material external to the magnetic structure and the radiofrequency (RF) sensor coil. These devices have been employed in a wide variety of applications, e. g. well/oil logging, landmine detection and materials research. Recently, imaging with a portable, single-sided magnet has also proven feasible. The required hardware for mobile MRI surface scanners differs significantly from that employed in established clinical tomographs. This paper demonstrates a possible realisation of the RF-system of an unilateral and mobile NMR device especially constructed to carry out imaging experiments. Main features include a linear and efficient power amplifier in order to miniaturise the equipment as well as other dedicated RF components.
