摘要

A circularly-toothed planar logarithmic-periodic antenna on a 50 μm thick fused silica substrate has been fabricated and characterised. A Schottky diode has been introduced at the terminals of the antenna for power detection. The frequency dependent polarisation and sensitivity has been measured in the frequency range between 75 GHz and 95 GHz. With this approach room-temperature sensitivities of more than 3000 V/W have been attained. A comparison of the measured farfield pattern at 94 GHz and results from numerical calculations are in good agreement.
