UKoLoS - Ultra-Wideband Radio Technologies for Communications, Localisation and Sensor Applications

This special issue is dedicated to the priority programme (Schwerpunktprogramm) " Ultrabreitband-Funktechniken fur Kommunikation, Lokalisierung und Sensorik" (UKoLoS) funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG SPP 1202). UKoLoS has started in 2006 and now half of its duration is over. Results of the first funding period have been presented at a report meeting in Ilmenau from May 7th to 8th 2008. The photograph shows the researchers and reviewers together with Dr. Wefelmeier (the program advisor at DFG) in relaxed atmosphere on top of the Kickelhahn mountain close to the place where the meeting took place (Ilmenau, Berg- und Jagdhotel Gabelbach).
