The ECC decision 06(12) accepts the low duty cycle mitigation technique for radar services in the band 3.1 -3.4 GHz without a detailed investigation. Only the French Telecom and German IT-Amt investigated the interference mitigation but with different results. The use of the standard simulation program Seamcat is not sufficient due to internal limitations. Therefore a suitable simulation program was developed based on experimental results. The outcome of the simulation is processed to help radar operators understanding the impact of the interference. Different LDC parameter sets are analysed.
