Seems the bank has agreed to lend $30 million to Huntingdon Life Sciences Group of the U.K., a big contract-research organization. The lab, which counts Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck among its clients, uses mice, rats and guinea pigs to test compounds before beginning human trials.
