A partnership between ROCOL Lubricants and confectionery products manufacturer Lees of Scotland has seen the creation of a 100% food-safe production environment for the company, as well as helping them meet stringent audit requirements. Lees of Scotland, part of Lees Foods pic, produces a range of meringue and confectionery products for major UK retailers at its factory near Glasgow. The firm brought ROCOL Lubricants in four years ago to evaluate lubrication requirements at its 82,000 sq ft factory using the ROCOLcare~R lubrication management system. The ROCOLcare~R lubrication management programme is designed to simplify lubrication for food manufacturers and, ultimately, improve production efficiency. Developed inrnpartnership with customers to meet their specific site lubrication requirements, it uses products from the NSF-registered ROCOL FOODLUBE~R range to reduce equipment failures and create a manufacturing environment that is totally food-safe.
