Hazardous areas: An explosive issue

Legislation is a great driver for change. Until legislation is introduced, people and companies may feel less inclined to invest in something if they're not forced to do so -even if maintaining the status quo is damaging. That's why legislation is so necessary, except where it becomes a bugbear owing to over-regulation and red tape. In this month's issue we examine how legislation has enforced changes with respect to hazardous areas in food plants.
