Fresh produce and food manufacturers who face problems with production bottlenecks during the packaging process can now find a solution with a new tray denester from Pacepacker Services. With the recent uptake of robots within food packing, improved line efficiency and speed has meant that other parts of the packing process need to match the pace, for example, the speed at which retail trays are fed to the line and robot. Pacepacker's new automated tray denester delivers up to 30 trays per minute to the conveyor. Pacepacker designed the state-of-the-art tray denester in response to the need for more efficient ancillary equipment in manufacturing plants. The denester can handle trays irrespective of size and height, making it completely flexible, as well as allowing customers to get a complete automated solution from one provider.
