Revised global standard for packaging and packaging materials published

BRC Global Standards are the world's largest provider of safety and quality standards programmes for food manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution. A wide consultation was carried out to understand stakeholders' requirements, as well as a review of emerging issues in the packaging industry, and the industries it supplies. The information gathered by the consultation has been developed and reviewed by a working group composed of stakeholders representing the different sectors of the packaging materials manufacturing industry, retailers, brand owners, certification bodies and independent technical experts.
