Caythorpe Farmers doubles output on potato packing line

Installation of a three-phase automation project slashes giveaway on potato packaging line for the Lincolnshire potato merchant. LINCOLNSHIRE IS PREDOMINANTLY agricultural in its land use, and is home to the greatest proportion of Grade Ⅰ land in the UK. Prime potato growing country, Lincolnshire is also the largest county to produce potatoes in the UK. Mill Farm in Grantham has farmed potatoes in it's limestone soil for many years, and most recently, the farm has become a merchant for the local produce industry when, seven years ago, Steve Dowse established Caythorpe Farmers, a produce packing and marketing operation.
