With the drive towards natural refrigerants being led by the European Community, any food processor that isn't currently using natural or low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants will be forced to do so in the next 10 years. There have already been revisions to the F-Gas Regulations to push towards lower GWP refrigerants, and while future revisions are inevitable, natural refrigerants offer a readily available low GWP alternative to HFCs.
