J.M. Smucker Co. was preparing for an orderly transition in advance of the June 29 retirement of Steven Oakland, vice chair and president of its U.S. Food and Beverage business. So even before Oakland's early departure to TreeHouse (see pl6), Smucker in late January made several executive changes, most effective Feb. 1. Joseph Stanziano, currently a senior vice president and general manager of Consumer Foods, will become GM of Coffee. He's been with the company for 21 years. Tina Floyd, a vice president and GM of Away From Home, has been elected a corporate officer and will become a senior vice president and GM of Consumer Foods. She's been with the company for 23 years. Amy Held, currently vice president of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, also was elected a corporate officer and will become senior VP of Strategy and M&A. She's been with Smucker five years.
