Yeatsall's stylish debut

A charity fly-in took place at Yeatsall Farm strip in early August - the first time such an event has been held at the airfield near Abbots Bromley, Staffs. Despite a strong crosswind, the fine weather brought in 66 aircraft during the day, including Cessna 120 G-BJML and DH Tiger Moth G-ADJJ (left). There was also a number of impressive ground displays that featured classic cars, vintage fire engines, military vehicles and some of the Staffordshire Aircraft Restoration Team's aircraft. The latter's Slingsby T.31 Motor Cadet III C-BPIP (right) performed its first post-restoration 'hops' the day after the fly-in, with Bob Arnold at the controls.
