First flight close for Fortress

Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 483872 (N7227C) Texas Raiders is approaching the end of its restoration to flight status at Hobby Airport, Houston, Texas. With all four engines now successfully installed and running, the outer wings and wingtips have been fitted and the tail cone has been put back on.rnThe team is now busy completing the final engineering tasks and is ensuring all the paperwork is in order. As at mid-August, a firm date hadn't been set for the first flight.
