'Butcher Bird' nearly ready

Finishing work on the Fighter Factory's new-build Focke-Wulf FW190-8/N is progressing well at the hands of Achim and Elmar Meier, at Bremgarten, Southern Germany. Construction number 990002 is now painted to represent Georg Schott's personal Fw 190A-6, which he flew with JG1. The German 'ace' claimedrn20 victories before being shot down on September 27,1943, during combat with Allied bombers over the North Sea.
