After seven years, nine months and an odd number of days and hours, Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 483872 (N7227C Texas Raiders re-flew from Houston's Hobby Airport on October 14. At the controls for the milestone postrestoration air-test was Al Maxwellrnand Rick Sharpe, accompanied by DonrnPrice, Chuck Conway and David Carr.
