To celebrate the centenary of the foundation of Leicestershire Aero Club a series of weekend fly-ins are being staged with reduced landing fees for the appropriate aircraft and a special logbook sticker: May 16/17 Cessnas; May 23/24 Vintage types (over 40 years old); Jun 6/7 Auster, Beagle, Taylorcraft; Jun 13/14 Yak, Sukhoi and Eastern Bloc types; Jun 27/28 Pitts Specials and high-performance aerobatic types; Jul 11/12 taildraggers; Jul 25/26 homebuilds; Aug 8/9 warbirds; Aug 15/16 Piper types; Aug 22/23 microlights; Sep 5/6 anything not in the above categories!
