The Fantasy of Flight B-26 N4297J is the world's only airworthy Marauder. It first flew at Chino, California, on April 18,1992, following an epic restoration. B-26G 'Shootin' In' is displayed at the Museum of the USAF in the colours of the 387th Bomb Group's 556th Bomb Squadron as based at Chipping Ongar, Essex - see page 34. It served with the French Air Force as 334581 until 1950, then becoming an instructional airframe with Air France. It was exported to the USA in 1965.
