Flown for a number of years as Putt Putt Maru by the Lone Star Flight Museum at Houston and later at Galveston, Texas, Lockheed P-38L-5-LO Lightning 44-53095 (N38 TF) is now being operated by Comanche Fighters of Houston, under the name Thoughts of Midnite. The new owners had the P-38 re-finished recently to represent one of the Lightnings flown t World War Two 475th Fighter Group 'ace' Capt Verl E Jett.
