Peter Green commented on two of the Avro 504s we featured as January's In Focus subject. The Avro marked 'C4' on its cowling belonged to the RAF Cadet College at Cranwell, circa 1921-1922. The codes denoted that it was No.4 of 'C Flight. The example with 'quartered' wheel covers on page 45 is another Cranwell inmate - the segments being black and white.
