Unseen Duxford

Having visited the Imperial War Museum at Duxford many times, I've often driven down the A505 and turned south into the airfield. I've noticed the many military-style buildings on the other side of the road and wondered what their story might be and what they are being used for now. So, when I learned that IWM staff were running guided tours of the area - known as the North Side -rnI was one of the first to sign up.rnDuxford came into being during the latter days of World War One, as a training centre for Royal Flying Corps personnel. The land was requisitioned from local farmers and landowners.
