Northolt pays its respects

A granite memorial stone commemorating the squadrons that were based at Northolt, London, during the Battle of Britain was unveiled on September 15. Representatives of the squadron associations listed on the stone were present as were representatives from the Canadian, Polish and Belgian Air Force. On the same day a replica of a Hawker Hurricane, formerly at Biggin Hill, was revealed as the RAF base's new gate guardian.
