Keith Park tribute

A bronze statue of Sir Keith Park was unveiled at Waterloo Place, in central London, on September 15. The tribute to the Commander of 11 Group in the Battle of Britain stands 9 feet (2.78m) tall. A temporary fibre glass version of the statue had previously been sited in Trafalgar Square from November 4, and was moved to the RAF Museum Hendon in May 2010. On the same September day, AVM Graham Lintott, Chief of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, formally opened RAF Northolt's Sir Keith Park Building.
