The only airworthy Swedish SAAB J 35 Draken 'Johan 56' is back on the airshow 'circuit' after being grounded for two years. The long delay was caused by the need to replace explosive cartridges for the emergency escape sequence that had passed their 'best before' date. After successful test flights in June, the Draken has now performed at several airshows in the capable hanrk nf Pant Patpr MpHharn frnm the Royal Swedish Air Force, a current SAAB JAS 39 Gripen pilot.
