Norseman's new colours

After a seven-year restoration, Lelystad, Netherlands-based Noorduyn Norseman 44-70509 has been repainted in the markings it wore when it flew with the US 8th Air Force. On January 23,1945, it was delivered to the USAAF, but it took until March 29 of that year before it was shipped to Europe. When completed, the Noorduyn Foundation aircraft will be the only flying Norseman in Europe.
