Remembering two of 'The Few'

A memorial to two Battle of Britain pilots was unveiled at Westbere, Kent, on August 18 - exactly 70 years after their death. Funds were raised through the considerable efforts of local historian Derek Butler who has also written and published a 23-page booklet detailing the action that led to the loss of Plt Off John Bland and Fg Off Franciszek Gruszka.
