Buy a Corsair

摘要

German-based (but French-registered) Vought F4U Corsair F-AZYS is in need of a new owner. The fighter currently wears French Navy colours but can be supplied in any paint scheme required. It was recently seen in the UK, flying in the capable hands of Brian Smith at Duxford's Flying Legends airshow (see FlyPast, September issue). Since making its first post-restoration flight on March 9,2000, both its airframe and Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engine have flown just over 370 hours.
