Brunty's QRA 'shed' opens

The new Quick Reaction Alert hangar used to house the Lighting Preservation Group's two English Electric Lightnings was officially opened at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire on July 24, followingrneight years of fundraising (see FlyPast, September). The two taxiable F.6 jets, XS904 and XR728, now have a permanent shelter.
