A memorial to a RCAF Halifax crew that lost their lives in 1944 was unveiled at Romanby Golf Club in Northallerton, Yorkshire on March 5.rnOn the night of February 21,1944, HP Halifax III LK836 (not LV836 as shown on the new plaque) of 427 Squadron took off on an operation to Stuttgart, Germany.
