The 1944-built Stinson AT-19 Reliant N444BF has been acquired by Atlanta, US-based Richard Epton, originally from Lincolnshire. Originally made as a V-77, it is a rare example of an aircraft once used by both the US Navy and Royal Navy. N444BF served with the military in Trinidad and entered civilian hands on moving to Canada. In 1989 it was acquired by Ronnie Cox, moving to a new owner in Jackson County round 2007 with whom it was flown frequently, 250 hours being added to its log book in the three years before Richard bought it.
