Dayton, Ohio's National Museum of the USAF has received an award for its online 'virtual tour' website. The Best Innovative Program accolade was presented because the facility had received consistently positive feedback from visitors. An impressive 82% of those surveyed said they would visit the museum as a result of viewing the website. The 'tour', which was launched last November, features 92 panoramic photos, making the museum fully 'virtual'. Curator Terry Aitken said: "Not only have we extended our reach to a global audience, but we have provided a service for people who cannot physically be here."
