'Eagles over London'

I refer to the photo of stored Buchon in RAF markings in the November issue, which I found intriguing, and Darren Cogdon's subsequent letter in the December issue. As a collector of any film DVD with an aviation element, by coincidence I bought a copy of Eagles Over London a few days after the photo was published. The Italian made film-its original title translates as The Battle of England - was one of a series of war films made in the late 1960s/early 1970s by director Enzo Castellari. The war equivalent of the 'Spaghetti Western', this series of World War Two films are known in certain fan circles as 'Macaroni Combats'.
