Flying the: lagship

Duxford's annual Flying Legends airshow is known the world over for its great atmosphere, superb static displays and, of course, its wonderful array of airworthy warbird fighters! A good number of the latter come from overseas especially for the show. For the last two years, a major draw has been the stunning Lockheed P-38 Lightning, the flagship of the Austria-based The Flying Bulls fleet. For some, the highly polished fighter with its Red Bull branding is not in keeping with a traditional warbird, but for the majority, it's a sight to behold.
