French Battle of Britain heroes honoured

At a ceremony in Paris on July 13, two French pilots who flew with the RAF in the Battle of Britain were posthumously awarded medals. Following a research project by former BBC presenter Jan Leeming, and Ian Reed, Director of the Yorkshire Air Museum S Allied Air Forces Memorial, the families of Commandant Rene Mouchotte and Col Henry Lafont received the medals from Chief of the Air Staff ACM Sir Stephen Dalton.
