Despite a week of heavy rain doing its best to disrupt another Shuttleworth show, the sodden soil at the Old Warden aerodrome dried out sufficiently for the spectators and aircraft attending the July 21 Evening Airshow. While the display lacked any 'heavies' due to the softer than usual ground, the sun shone on an emotionally charged day that began with a sombre atmosphere and ended with a touch of magic.
