Messenger 60 not out

Miles Messenger G-AKIN, one of only four currently airworthy in the UK, recently celebrated the 60th anniversary of its arrival at Sywell Aerodrome in Northants, where it has been based ever since. Built as a M.38 Messenger 2A in November 1947, it was the penultimate Miles-built aircraft, and was owned from August 1949 by John and Norman Spiller.
