Sea Vixen landing incident

DS Aviation's de Havilland Sea Vixen FAW.2 XP924, the only one of its type still flying, suffered minor damage to its port drop tank and an area under its nose following a landing incident at its Bournemouth Airport base on April 5. After a successful launch, test flight and landing, the nose undercarriage gradually began to retract while the aircraft rolled down the runway at a slow speed.
