'Albatros D.I III on display in Germany

A new reproduction of a World War One Albatros D.lll fighter has been placed on display at the Oeutsches Museum in Munich, Germany. Built by Koloman Mayrhofer and Eberhard Fritsch, the potentially airworthy machine is complete with an original 225hp (165kW) Austro-Daimler engine. Eberhard hopes to test fly it this summer. The aircraft represents a 1917-built example of a type that once equipped all 37-German fighter squadrons.
