Classic Wallis autogyro for sale

Jake Wallis, son of the late Wg Cdr Ken Wallis, has listed one of his father's autogyros for sale. Ken gave his son (who now lives in the US) the aircraft 12 years ago and it is believed to be the last one in private hands. Jake said the machine, known as Little Nellie's Sister, needs to be "looked after and cherished". Powered by a Franklin 2A-120-B engine, G-ATTB is not currently airworthy and made its last public appearance at Middle Wallop, Hants, in July 1982, following participation in the army's Exercise Green Lanyard. Ken had used it in an attempt to interest the army in operating his machines. For this, Tango-Bravo was repainted in a camouflage scheme and given the military serial 'XR944'.
