Hurricane arrives in Australia

Hawker Hurricane Ⅻ 'P2970' (C-FDNL) has arrived at Scone in New South Wales, Australia, after a lengthy boat trip from Canada via the Panama Canal and New Zealand. The aircraft was unpacked from its shipping container on April 8. It had been transported in a purpose-built steel cradle with the fuselage and wings wrapped in padding. The propeller and tail surfaces were individually boxed.
