New owner for airworthy Invader

Douglas A-26B Invader 44-34104 was flown to its new owner A-26 Invader LLC at Huntington, Indiana, by pilot Norm Koerner and observer Naomi Wadsworth on September 23. Accepted for service by the USAAF in February 1945, it was delivered to Europe for use by the Eighth Air Force, and was placed in storage when it returned to the US in November of the same year. Having had a glass nose installed, it was returned to service as a B-26C, operating with several units until it was retired to Davis-Monthan, Arizona, in 1956.
