A stone memorial and plaque dedicated to two Supermarine Spitfire pilots who lost their lives in Seagry, Wilts, on April 6,1941, was unveiled during a ceremony on September 14. During a training exercise, Pit Off Harold A Williams, 23, from Putney, was flying Spitfire Mk.la X4826, and 25-year-old Fg Off John Brewster was at the controls of X4822 when both 118 Squadron fighters collided, killing both pilots.
