Mustang 'Lady Alice'

Built at Dallas, Texas, towards the end of World War Two, Mustang 45-11633 wound up with William G Lacy of Lacy Steel at Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1963. Civilianised as N5413V, it was damaged in a ground accident in 1972 and shipped to Salinas, California, where it was repaired by Art Teeters and then put into store. Lacy flew the Mustang at Salinas about once a year until 1995 when Bob Jepson of Savannah, Georgia, obtained it. He had it re-registered as N151MW, repainted and named Lady Alice after his wife. Bob treasured it until Wags finally purchased the P-51 in 2006.
