I was pleased to see the photo of 35 Squadron Avro Lancaster TW880, coded 'TL-P' on page 97 of the September issue of FlyPast. In 1947 when I was a 13-year-old Air Training Corps cadet with 414 squadron on summer camp at Mildenhall airfield, I had a flight on this aircraft. The pilot was Fit Lt Neubroch - a Canadian - and we flew Mildenhall-Plymouth-Fishguard-Mildenhall, resulting in a three-hour trip. My log book for this flight was lost, but I have retained the registration all these years. I was hoping that I would see a photo of 'TL-P' and now I have, thank you.
