As one chapter closes, another one opens - or so it's often said. It's a statement that might well ring true for anyone with a taste for four-engined things built by Avro. On September 13, 2015, Avro Vulcan B.2 XH558 made one of its final public flights, displaying over Coventry Airport. On the same day, at the same event, Avro Shackleton AEW.2 WR963 ran up its four Rolls-Royce Griffon engines and completed its first public taxi run, in front of an appreciative 5,000-strong crowd.
