First post-restoration flight for Australian Mustang

Commonwealth CA-18 Mustang PR.22 A68-199 took to the skies over Tyabb, in Victoria, Australia, on December 16, after several years of restoration. The youngest survivor of 200 aircraft built under licence by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) in Australia, A68-199 was accepted by the RAAF in July 1951 and taken on by 23 (City of Brisbane) Squadron. After just ten months of service, it was returned to 1 Aircraft Depot and eventually struck off charge in 1958.
