Messerschmitt Me 262A-2a 112372 has been transported by road to its new home at RAF Museum Cosford in Shropshire. The jet is returning to the Midlands after 14 years on display at the RAF Museum's Hendon site. Prior to the move, it was dismantled by museum technicians and apprentices. It arrived safely at Cosford at the end of May. By the time FlyPast is published, it is likely to have been reassembled and put on display alongside the attraction's other Luftwaffe aircraft in the War In The Air hangar.
