Restored MiG-15 on display in the Czech Republic

MALCOLM LOWE Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15bis SB 3255 has been placed on display in the Kbely-based Letecke Muzeum (Aviation Museum) in the Czech Republic. The aircraft, which was manufactured during 1956, served with the Czech Air Force at several bases during the Cold War following configuration into SB (fighter-bomber) layout. Featuring underwing pylons for unguided air-to-ground ordnance, 3255 was one of the last MiG-15s to remain in Czech service, making its final flight during October 1982. It was obtained by the museum in March 1985.
