Hawker Hurricane Mk.Ⅹ P2921 and Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Ⅸ TA805 joined The Blades aerobatic display team of Extra 300 aircraft for a special flypast over Biggin Hill on September 15, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The Blades team, which comprises former RAF Red Arrows pilots, flew over a total of nine Battle of Britain Sector Stations including Duxford, Kenley and North Weald, as well as the former Fighter Command headquarters at Bentley Priory. At the midway point, the team landed at Biggin Hill's Heritage Hangar to meet RAF veterans and guests.
